The reverse of this coin features a modified U.S. Presidential seal. The heraldic eagle is at the center, clutching an olive branch in one talon and arrows in the other. The eagle holds a banner in its beak that reads E Pluribus Unum. Coins may or may not include a mint mark.

History

President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas in November of 1963. He was honored on the obverse of this coin the following year.
