Obverse

The obverse of the Team USA Silver Round displays the United States Olympic Heritage Mark. This mark features Team USA in the center with the year 1896, the date of the first modern Olympic Games. History

The 2024 Summer Games, officially the 33rd edition, will take place in Paris, France, from July 26 to August 11, 2024. New sports added to the program for the Paris Games include breaking (breakdancing), which will make its debut as an official sport. Additionally, skateboarding, sport climbing, and surfing, which were introduced previously at the Tokyo Games, will return for the Paris Games. These additions are part of the International Olympic Committee’s efforts to appeal to younger audiences and reflect evolving global sporting trends.
