Her Majesty is shown in right-profile relief without a crown on her head.
Reverse
The sugar maple leaf is found on the reverse of the 2023 1/2 oz Gold Maple Leaf Coin. This design has been on the coins of the Canadian Gold Maple Leaf since 1979 and also features on the silver, platinum, and palladium versions of the coin.
History
