Obverse

In the obverse field of 2023 Armenian Gold Noahs Ark Coin, you will find the national coat of arms. This design features a quartered shield that is supported by a heraldic eagle and a heraldic lion. The quadrants on the shield have eagles and lions in them, with a smaller crest at the center depicting Noahs Ark atop Mount Ararat.

Reverse

For the reverse design of the 2023 1/2 oz Gold Noahs Ark Coin, the mint offers a glimpse of Noahs Ark. This rendition of the ark shows the boat on the floodwaters as the sun begins to rise over Mount Ararat in the distant background field. In the foreground, a dove flies into view with an olive branch in its talons.

History

In 2017, Geiger Edelmetalle gave investors and collectors a first glimpse at Gold Noahs Ark Coins. This year saw the release of Proof Armenian Gold Noahs Ark Coins in 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1 Gram gold. In 2020, Geiger introduced those four weights in a new BU Series.
