Obverse

Armenias coat of arms features in the obverse design of the 2023 Armenian Silver Noahs Ark Coin. This visual shows a quartered shield with a central crest depicting Noahs Ark resting atop Mount Ararat. The larger shield is supported by a heraldic eagle on one side and a heraldic lion on the other.

Reverse

Noahs Ark is depicted in the reverse field of 2023 1/2 oz Silver Noahs Ark Coins. This design shows Noahs Ark floating on flood waters with Mount Ararat depicted in the background as the sun rises over its peak. In the foreground, a dove flies into view with an olive branch in its beak.

History

Armenian Silver Noahs Ark Coins debuted in 2011 with 1 oz, 1/2 oz, and 1/4 oz silver options. In 2012, 5 oz, 10 oz, 1 Kilo, and 5 Kilo coins were introduced. The most recent introduction saw the series expand to gold bullion coins as well with 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1 Gram coins introduced in 2020.
