History

Chinese Gold Pandas debuted in 1982 at the Chinese Mint with 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz weights. In 1983, the series added its 1/20 oz gold coin. In 2016, the Chinese Mint changed to Gram weights, replacing the aforementioned weights with 30, 15, 8, 3, and 1 Gram options, respectively.
