Reverse
An American bald eagle is captured in the reverse design of 2023 1/4 oz Gold Eagle Coins. This design from Jennie Norris is new as of mid-2021 and shows the head of the eagle in left-profile relief. Incredible, real-life details went into this portrait with layered visuals that almost bring the plumage of the bird and its powerful gaze to life.
