Reverse

History
The Crowns of Silla were crafted during the Silla Dynasty between the 5th and 7th centuries. After an extensive process, the crowns were eventually uncovered in Gyeongju, the former Sillan capital. Rather than being located in underground rooms with corridors, the crowns were buried in wood-lined pits covered in thick layers of clay. This was done to prevent tomb robbers from accessing the treasures buried there. Since 1921, five gold crowns have been uncovered, all of which are considered Korean national treasures.
