King Charles III is on the obverse of 2023 British Gold Britannia Coins. This new portrait of the King comes from Martin Jennings and shows Charles III in left-profile relief without a crown on his head.

Reverse

Britannia features on the reverse of 2023 1 oz Gold Britannia Coins. This design from Philip Nathan shows Britannia in front-facing relief with a trident in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The olive branch rests on a Union Jack shield.

History
