Obverse

On the obverse of 2023 American Silver Eagle Coin, you will find a depiction of Walking Liberty. Her effigy was created in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman and it offers a vision of Liberty in left-profile relief with her right hand outstretched, the left carrying branches of oak and laurel, and the American flag draped around her figure.

Reverse

The reverse side of the 2023 1 oz Silver Eagle features a new depiction of the American bald eagle. This design comes from Emily Damstra and was created in 2020. It debuted in 2021 during the 35^th anniversary of the series and it shows the eagle in flight with a large oak branch in its talons.
