Exmouth is a small tourist town in western Australia. On April 20, 2023, around 11:27 AM, the town experienced a total eclipse of the sun. The eclipse lasted 62 seconds as tourists and locals witnessed the moon completely obscure the face of the sun. The event was visible in other towns as well, but only as a partial eclipse. Perth residents, for instance, witnessed a 72% eclipse, while Geraldton saw 80% coverage.
