Obverse

Jody Clark’s 2015 rendition of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, at 89 years old and wearing the George IV State Diadem, is the final depiction of the Queen to grace the obverse side of the 2022 Great Britain Gold Quarter Sovereign coin series.

Reverse

The 2022 Gold Quarter Sovereign boasts a special rendition of the Royal Arms of the United Kingdom on its reverse side, designed by Timothy Noad to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The design includes the quartered shield with the coats of arms for England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, as well as the Lion of England and the Unicorn of Scotland supporting the shield.
