History

With 47.3 million coins sold in 2015, this coin program is one of the best-selling coin programs in the world. Proof coins in this series were originally struck at the San Francisco Mint until 1992. The Philadelphia Mint took over production from 1993 to 2000. After which, the West Point Mint took over. 2009 is the only year no proof versions were struck.
