The modernized version of the heraldic eagle appears on the reverse of all 2008-W 1 oz Proof American Eagles. This version includes the 13 five-point stars above the eagles head. This image is front and center with identifying marks surrounding it. Inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 1 OZ, FINE SILVER, ONE DOLLAR.
