This image, which many believe drew inspiration from Louis Oscar Rotys famous La Semeuse, shows Liberty walking towards the sun on the left side of the coin. Liberty is seen with the American flag draped over her shoulder and a set of oaken branches in her left arm. Inscriptions read LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 2000.

Reverse

2000-P 1 oz Proof Silver Eagle Coins feature the heraldic eagle. Former Chief Engraver, John Mercanti, modernized this image that has been used by the United States Mint since 1794. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 1 OZ, FINE SILVER, ONE DOLLAR, P, and E PLURIBUS UNUM.

History

The Numismatic Guaranty Corporation, along with the PCGS, is one of the most respected third-party coin certifiers in the industry.
