The obverse of all 1896 Morgan Dollar Coins features an effigy of Lady Liberty. She is portrayed in left profile, wearing a Phrygian cap adorned with a coronet crown and laurel wreath. Inscriptions include E PLURIBUS UNUM, and 1896.

Reverse

On the reverse, you’ll find a 19th-century rendition of the heraldic eagle of the United States, designed by George T. Morgan. This image showcases a front-facing bald eagle with its wings outstretched and its head turned to the right. Clasping arrows and an olive branch in its talons. Inscriptions read ONE DOLLAR, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and IN GOD WE TRUST.
