These 2023 1 oz Mountain Gorilla Silver Coins are considered legal tender under the monetary authority of the Rwandan government. The coins were struck in .999 pure silver by the renowned Mayer Mint and will arrive in protective plastic flips. The coins are also Brilliant Uncirculated, meaning only minor signs of wear may be visible on their surfaces.

Obverse

For the obverse of 2023 Rwandan Mountain Gorilla Silver Coins the Emblem of Rwanda is found. This national design was adopted in 2001 and includes a coffee branch, a stem of sorghum, and a traditional woven basket. The obverse also includes denomination inscriptions along the edge.

Reverse

History

The Rwandan Wildlife Series has featured seventeen designs since launching in 2008. A tribute to Africas spectacular fauna, the series has included such creatures as the giraffe, meerkat, cape buffalo, and Nile crocodile. The series is produced by B.H. Mayer Mint in Germany on behalf of the Republic of Rwanda.
