On the front of the 2024 Proof British Gold Year of the Dragon Coin, you’ll see a picture of King Charles III facing the left. The picture, made by Martin Jennings in late 2022, doesn’t show the king wearing a crown, which is pretty unique.

Flipping it over, the other side of the coin has a grand Chinese dragon over a calm river scene. The Chinese zodiac isn’t only about animals it also has five elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. Each animal has an element, and it makes a 60-year cycle. This means you’ll see things like the Wood Dragon or Fire Dragon every 60 years.
