Obverse
The obverse of the 2024 Colorized Australian Gold Lunar Dragon Coins features Queen Elizabeth II. This portrait, created by Jody Clark in 2015 for The Royal Mint, shows the Queen at 89 years old, wearing the George IV State Diadem. It was the final effigy used during her reign.
Reverse
The reverse design of the 2024 1/20 oz Colorized Gold Lunar Dragon Coin showcases a Chinese dragon. This dragon is depicted in a right-profile relief with a coiled body. The design is colorized with hues of blue and orange on the dragons body, and the waves beneath its feet are also colorized. The background includes stylized clouds.
