Obverse

The obverse of the American Silver Eagle features Adolph A. Weinmans Walking Liberty design. Reverse

On the reverse side, the design depends on the coins issue date. Coins minted between 1986 and early 2021 feature the heraldic eagle by John Mercanti, while coins from mid-2021 to 2025 display Emily Damstras soaring bald eagle. Since 2021 marked the transition, this set includes two unique coins from that year, each featuring a different reverse design.

The reverse redesign in 2021 marked the 35th anniversary of the American Silver Eagle Series. This update was made in accordance with U.S. law, which permits major redesigns once every 25 years unless Congress approves otherwise.
