Each 2025 1 oz Somalia Silver African Wildlife Leopard Coin from BGASC is offered in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. These coins arrive in individual acrylic capsules and have a limited production of only 30,000 pieces.

Obverse

The obverse side of the coin carries Somalias national coat of arms. It shows a crowned shield with a central star, a nod to the countrys flag. Two leopards support the shield, fitting perfectly with the theme of the coin series.

Reverse

On the reverse, the 2025 design displays a leopard lying across a thick tree branch. Its gaze is locked on something in the distance. The animals signature coat pattern is featured in the image, highlighting the leopards natural stealth and strength that allow it to thrive across Africa.

History

Leopards are incredibly resourceful animals, able to survive in almost every corner of Africafrom humid jungles to dusty savannahs. They tend to live alone and rely on their camouflage for hunting. Their fur, marked with rosette spots, helps them stay nearly invisible in shaded areas.
