Product Description
Since first being introduced in 1986, the American Silver Eagle has been offered each year by the United States Mint in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition. Until 2024, BU Silver Eagles had never included a privy mark. That changed with the Star Privy release, and in 2025, the series continues with the second-ever BU privy design. BGASC now offers 2025 (P) 1 oz Eagle Privy American Silver Eagles in near-perfect certified condition.
Highlights:
- Ships in a secure, NGC plastic slab!
- 2nd release of BU Silver Eagles with a privy mark!
- Part of a strictly limited 500,000-coin mintage!
- Limited quantities of near-perfect certified coins!
- Contains 1 Troy oz of .999 pure silver.
- Bears a face value of $1 (USD) backed by the federal government.
- Issued a Grade of Mint State 69 by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation.
- The obverse includes the classic Walking Liberty design with the Eagle Privy.
- On the reverse is a powerful bald eagle in flight.
- Struck at the Philadelphia Mint (no mint mark included).
Graded as Mint State 69 by NGC, these 2025 (P) 1 oz Eagle Privy American Silver Eagles show full original luster and only a few very small imperfections.
Obverse
The obverse shows Adolph A. Weinmans famous Walking Liberty. This side also features the Eagle Privy mark in the lower-right section of the design. Inspired by the bald eagle in the Great Seal, the privy is a reminder of both American strength and the eagles return from the brink of extinction.
Reverse
The reverse side of the 2025 (P) Eagle Privy Silver Eagle includes a bald eagle in flight. Designed by Emily Damstra in 2021, the eagle is shown descending with its wings raised and talons extended toward an oak branchan emblem of strength and resolve.
History
This 2025 issue is only the second time a BU American Silver Eagle has featured a privy mark. Like its predecessor from 2024, it has a limited mintage of just 500,000 coins. That small release makes it one of the most limited BU issues in the Silver Eagle collection.
