These are Advanced Release coins, which were distributed early by the US Mint to a small group of authorized dealers before the official public sale. The coins here are from the first 50,000 struck in the 2025 Eagle Privy release.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2025 (P) Eagle Privy American Silver Eagle shows the classic Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman. Liberty is moving toward the sun, with the US flag around her shoulders. Youll also find a small eagle privy in the lower rightdepicting an eagle mid-flight with wings spread wide.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the coin is a bold, modern image of a bald eagle created by Emily Damstra. In this version, the eagle is shown flying with an oak branch in its talons and its wings lifted in a powerful glide.
History
This marks only the second time the US Mint has included a privy mark on a BU Silver Eagle. Following the popularity of the 2024 Star Privy, the 2025 Eagle Privy also comes with a low mintage of 500,000, making both releases some of the most limited in the series.
