The 2026 1/2 oz Somalia Gold Elephant Coins come in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and are housed in protective capsules. This 1/2 oz coin is the largest fractional gold coin in the series, which offers a total of nine weights in gold.

Obverse

The obverse of the 2026 1/2 oz Gold Elephant Coin carries the coat of arms of Somalia. It includes a shield with stripes and a star in the center, with leopards on each side. Palm leaves and spears cross beneath the shield to complete the design.

Reverse

On the reverse of the 2026 Somalia Gold Elephant Coin, the design depicts a watering hole in the savanna. A zebra drinks at the waters edge, while two African bush elephants approach across the landscape. A mountain range rises in the background, giving the scene more depth.

History
