Designs

The obverse of each 2026 Proof Colorized Niue Disney Donald Duck Foil displays the Niuean coat of arms and a unique serial number. The reverse features one of several possible images of Donald Duck. Created by Walt Disney Productions in 1934, Donald Duck quickly became one of animations most recognizable characters. Known for his sailor suit, expressive personality, and voice originally performed by Clarence Nash, Donald went on to star in more theatrical animated shorts than Mickey Mouse.

The Niue Disney Donald Duck Blind Box series is broken into four tiers, each offering a different combination of finish and metal. Tier 1 and Tier 2 both feature colorized silver designs of Donald Duck. Tier 3 is struck as a silver proof without color, while Tier 4 is issued as a gold proof foil. Out of the total mintage of 5,000 foils, Tier 1 accounts for 3,485 pieces, making it the most common with a 69.7% chance. Tier 2 follows with 1,000 foils at a 20% chance. Tier 3 includes 500 foils for a 10% chance, and Tier 4 is the rarest with just 15 foils, representing a 0.3% chance.
