On June 15, 2025, NASCAR will host a historic race at the Autdromo Hermanos Rodrguez in Mexico City, marking its first points-paying Cup Series event outside the United States since 1998. Obverse

The obverse side of the 1 Gram NASCAR Mexico City Gold Bar includes a banner design recognizing the 2025 debut race in Mexico. This new event takes over the spring Richmond race and uses a modified version of the F1 circuit in Mexico City, including 14 turns but skipping the traditional 5th and 6th turns.

Reverse

The reverse face of the bar displays identifying details such as the bars weight, gold content, and purity. This side also includes the NASCAR logo. Both sides of the bar showcase decorative elements influenced by traditional Mexican artwork to reflect the races location.

History

With this new event, NASCAR continues to grow its fanbase beyond the U.S. The 2025 Mexico City race is expected to draw interest from fans across North America and will also include support races from the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Mexico Series.
