James Earle Fraser is the famed designer who crafted the original Buffalo Nickel design. Inspired by his childhood in Minnesota and the Dakotas, he did not know he would create one of the USs most copied designs globally. Although the US Mint has not produced a Buffalo Nickel for over eighty years, numerous silver products have utilized its imagery like this silver round up for grabs. Today, BGASC is excited to present the 1 oz Buffalo Silver Round.

Obverse

A native chief is featured on the obverse face of the 1 oz Buffalo Silver Round. The image offers a depiction of this indigenous figure in a stoic manner while he looks off to the left of the round. He has braided hair and a pointed, native nose. Included is the inscription which says Liberty

Reverse

For the reverse face of the 1 oz Buffalo Silver Rounds, a replica of the design found on the Buffalo Nickel is featured. This is the image of an American bison in action. It is showcased here in left-profile relief as it stands on a small mound of dirt. The inscriptions highlight the weight, purity, and metal content!
