Obverse

Obverse design elements include the Rockies primary cap logo, with the initials CR interlocked. The C sits slightly above and to the left, and its end flows into the R, creating a compact and recognizable mark.

Reverse

Reverse visuals show the MLB logo, which consists of a batter silhouette in the center of a horizontal rectangle divided into two sections. A small baseball appears near the bat. Jerry Dior created the design in 1968, and it was first featured on uniforms in 1969.

History

The Rockies made their MLB debut in 1993, initially playing at Mile High Stadium, where they quickly set attendance marks. The move to Coors Field in 1995 gave the team a permanent home in downtown Denver. In 2007, Colorado advanced to its first World Series appearance after a strong late-season run.
