History

Buddha gave up his royal comforts, leaving his wife and newborn son behind, and pursued enlightenment for six years through different spiritual practices. His search led him to discover the “Middle Way,” a path that avoids extremes. He attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree at Bodh Gaya and devoted the rest of his life to sharing the teachings of the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path to help others end suffering.
