History

Pronghorns are a native North American species and the lone surviving members of the Antilocapridae family. Although they are often loosely referred to as antelopes, they follow their own evolutionary path. These animals have lived in the continents open grasslands for millions of years and are well known for their high running speeds, which can exceed 55 miles per hour for long stretches.
