Obverse

The design includes a torch in Libertys right hand with an olive branch in her left. There are sun rays on the horizon and a ring of stars around the design.

Reverse

The reverse field of 1994 1 oz Gold Eagle Coin comes with a vision of the American bald eagle family. This design was created in 1986 by Miley Busiek and shows a male eagle soaring over the nest as a female eagle watches over hatchlings in the nest.
