Britannia is a female warrior who has been used as a female personification of the great British empire. She is featured on the obverse face of the 20 Gram Gold Britannia Bars. She is featured in a Corinthian helmet along with a trident. She also holds a shield that features the Union Flag and the word Britannia. The background is comprised of curved lines forming a swirling, symmetrical pattern.

Reverse

The official national emblem of the Royal Mint seal is featured on the reverse face of the 20 Gram British Gold Britannia Bar. It also includes the hallmarks reading 20g 999.9 Fine Gold.
