Each of these bullion coins contain 30 grams of .999 fine gold and is stamped with a 500 Yuan face value by China Gold Coin Inc. (CGCI) for the People’s Bank of China (the central bank of the People’s Republic of China).
The obverse of this 30g gold coin features famous China landmark Beijing Temple of Heaven with Chinese inscription above the image reading, “People’s Republic of China” and the date of mintage, 2018. The reverse of the 2018 Chinese Silver Panda Coin is the playful panda figure curiously holding a bamboo shoot. Chinese Gold Panda bullion coins were first issued in 1982 and continue with a new panda design every year.
