Australian Silver Kangaroo Coins were introduced in 2016 after more than two decades of the silver coins being issued only as proof specimens. The 2016 debut marked the first issue of .9999 pure silver coins and the first Silver Kangaroo that would feature the same reverse design each year.
Obverse
Queen Elizabeth II graces the obverse of 2023 1 oz Silver Kangaroo Coins for the final time. With the Queens passing in September 2022, many 2023-dated coins will still feature her effigy, at least for a period of time. Her Majesty is shown here in right-profile relief in the Jody Clark design from 2015.
Reverse
A hopping kangaroo is depicted in the reverse design of 2023 Australian Silver Kangaroo Coins. This design is based on Stuart Devlins iconic hopping kangaroo design from the historic Australian copper penny. This design remains the same on this side each year in the series.

Australian Kangaroo Coins are available in five weights in the gold BU range, this 1 oz silver coin in this BU range, and in a 1 oz platinum BU coin as well.

2023 1 oz Australian Silver Kangaroo Coins are available in plastic flips, protective tubes of 25, or Monster Boxes of 250 coins. The box holds 10 individual 25-coin tubes. All of the coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.

How Does Free Shipping Work?
When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
When will my order ship?
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
Can I choose the method of shipping?
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
Will I need to sign for my package?
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
What about International Orders?
BGASC is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
