Each 2024-W 1 oz Burnished American Gold Eagle Coin is securely packaged in an individual box. The coins are encased in capsules and presented in a stylish black box, which is placed inside a Gold Eagle-themed shipper from the United States Mint. A Certificate of Authenticity is also included.

Obverse

The obverse side of the 2024-W Burnished American Gold Eagle features the classic Lady Liberty design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens from 1907. This depiction shows Liberty in full length, facing forward, with a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left.

Reverse

The reverse side of the 2024-W 1 oz Burnished Gold Eagle Coin showcases a modern image of the American bald eagle. This design by Jennie Norris, introduced in 2021, captures the eagles head in left-profile with detailed plumage as it gazes into the distance.

History

First introduced in 2006, Burnished Gold Eagles were initially available in three fractional sizes. Since 2011, these coins have been offered only in the 1 oz size. Known for their matte finish, Burnished Gold Eagles are produced in limited numbers each year.
