Each 2025 2 oz Antique Colorized Australian Silver Honey Bee Coin is housed in a Perth Mint display case. The coin is held in place with a soft foam insert and protected with a clear acrylic lid. The outer packaging features a bee-themed shipper, and each coin is shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity from the mint. The rimless coin is finished with an antique look and includes color on the reverse to enhance the design.

Obverse

On the obverse of the 2025 Antique Colorized Australian Silver Honey Bee Coin, youll see a portrait of King Charles III. Created by Dan Thorne, this first-generation effigy shows the King in a left-facing profile without a crown. This is now the official design used on Australian coinage.

Reverse

The reverse of 2025 2 oz Antique Colorized Silver Honey Bee Coins showcases bees in the act of pollination. The scene features three bees approaching flowers, with the largest flower in the foreground shown in color. A beehive sits in the background, adding depth to the scene of these helpful insects at work.

History
