The reverse of the 2025-P 1 oz Proof Marine Corps Privy Silver Eagle Coin features Emily Damstras modern bald eagle design, created in 2020. The eagle is seen soaring with an oak branch in its talonsa design that entered the Silver Eagle series in mid-2021.

History

During the Vietnam War, Marines performed diverse missionsdefending Khe Sanh during its 77-day siege, battling in cities during the Tet Offensive, and leading counterinsurgency operations throughout northern South Vietnam. These missions showed the Marines ability to adapt their amphibious and traditional combat training to the challenges of jungle warfare.
