Every blind box contains one of four possible BATMAN: Dark Knight Returns foil designs. Tier 1 has the largest mintage, with 3,460 5 gram silver foils showing a colorized depiction of the Dark Knight set against a lightning bolt background. Tier 2 includes 1,000 5 gram silver foils with a colorized portrait of the Dark Knight. Tier 3 features a smaller mintage of 500 5 gram silver foils that display the same design used in Tier 1 but in pure silver without color. The rarest option is Tier 4, which includes just 40 gold foils struck in 5 grams of gold using the same design seen in the Tier 2 version.
