Displayed on the reverse of the 2026-W 1 oz Proof Silver Eagle is Emily Damstras updated bald eagle design. First introduced in 2021, it shows the eagle descending with open wings and an oak branch grasped in its talons.

History

The Proof Silver Eagle program experienced a major update in the early 2020s, most notably with the debut of a new reverse design in 2021.
