2024 American Silver Eagles at BGASC
The most popular silver bullion coin in the world is the official silver bullion coin of the United States, the American Silver Eagle. This popular coin program is in its 39th consecutive year of release as coins have been issued annually since 1986. In 2021, the series underwent a massive change as the reverse image was changed to a flying eagle by Emily Damstra. The obverse has remained the same, showing Adolph A. BU Silver Eagles
The most popular option available is the Brilliant Uncirculated version of the Silver Eagle. These coins are available in just a 1 oz size. Individuals can be purchased in protective flips while larger orders are offered in tubes of 20 or Monster Boxes of 500.
Proof Silver Eagles
Struck every year since 1986, except for 2009, the US Mint has also made a proof strike available in the series. Proof coins have frosted design elements with a mirrored background. Also available in a 1 oz size, these coins have no bulk options. Individual coins are shipped in a black display case from the US Mint with a shipper and a Certificate of Authenticity.
Burnished Silver Eagles
The US Mint also creates burnished coins in this series. These coins have been produced annually since 2006, with a brief break in 2009 and 2010. Burnished coins look like BU coins but undergo a similar process as proof strikes. Similar to proof coins, they also arrive individually in a black box from the US Mint with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Certified Silver Eagles
Certified Silver Eagles are also available for 2024. These coins have been graded by a coin-grading service such as the PCGS or the NGC and will arrive in protective plastic slabs to preserve their graded condition. Coins are graded on the 1-70 Sheldon Scale.

Another popular option is the special occasion Silver Eagles. These American Silver Eagles are encased in clamshell packaging with unique themes such as Valentine’s Day, Happy Birthday, graduation, and Easter, among others.
