Each 1 Hades Standard Silverback Silver Note is sealed in a protective plastic currency sleeve to help preserve its quality. A PPQ 70 grade confirms that the note shows no visible handling marks under magnification, displays sharp centering, complete margins, and maintains its original paper quality. Design

The obverse of the Hades Standard Silverback Silver Note features Hades in a stern stance as he holds the leash of Cerberus, watching over his realm. The underworld, named after its ruler, was believed to be an expansive realm beneath the earth where all souls traveled after death. Cerberus, the three-headed hound, guarded its entrance to ensure that no soul could escape once it had entered.

History

Hades played a unique role within the Greek pantheon. After defeating the Titans, Hades and his brothers divided control of the cosmos, with Hades ruling the underworld while Zeus governed the sky and Poseidon ruled the sea. Although his authority matched that of his brothers, Hades remained largely removed from Mount Olympus and the affairs of gods and mortals. This distance contributed to his reputation as a feared and often misunderstood figure, associated with death but not depicted as inherently evil.
