    Sunshine Minting Background

    Sunshine was established in 1979, with its headquarters being in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Since then, they’ve established operations in Nevada, Rhoda Island, and even China. Furthermore, they have sales offices in Canada, Argentina, and Austria.

    Sunshine is known for its unique rounds and bars, made from silver and gold. However, they are also capable of creating custom blanks in several different shapes and sizes. Another thing they’re known for is their MintMark SI, a unique security feature found on most of their products. What looks to be a blank circle, changes immensely when viewed under a Sunshine Decoder Lens.

    Sunshine Bars

    Sunshine creates both silver bars and gold bars. One popular design the mint is known for is its Mercury design, available on its silver and gold bars. They also create popular American flag bars which are made to appear as if the flag is actually moving in the wind.

    Sunshine Rounds

    Sunshine has many silver rounds readily available to be purchased.  While most of their rounds take popular images seen throughout American coinage history, other rounds showcase unique designs created by Sunshine.
