Each 8 Piece Arizona Goldback Gold Note Set includes its own protective currency sleeves. With the release of the Florida Goldback Series in 2025, three new denominations joined the existing line, all of which are included here. Alongside the traditional 1, 5, 10, 25, and 50 Goldbacks, this set features 1/2, 2, and 100 Goldbacks, each with original artwork representing Arizonas history.

Designs

Images on the Goldbacks in this 8 Piece Arizona Set showcase Arizonas evolution from frontier days to modern growth. The Gadsden Purchase of 1854 encouraged migration by miners, ranchers, and settlers who shaped Arizonas economy and communities. The discovery of valuable minerals like copper, silver, and gold spurred rapid expansion in towns such as Tombstone, Bisbee, and Jerome, while new railroads connected Arizonas frontier towns to national trade networks.

History

The Arizona Goldback Series captures key moments from the states long history, beginning with its indigenous cultures and continuing through its statehood. After Mexicos independence from Spain in 1821, Arizona formed part of Mexicos northern frontier, where remote settlements like Tubac faced both isolation and Apache resistance. Following the Mexican-American War and the Gadsden Purchase of 1854, Arizona became part of the United States. Though the territory gained a rough reputation during its early years, it eventually stabilized and was admitted as the 48th state on February 14, 1912.
